Tips for good Steam comments
- Keep it honest. Only praise what you've actually seen. Don't call someone a "trusted trader" or "legit seller" unless you traded with them: comments like that can mislead others, and many communities remove them.
- No links or ads. Steam hides comments with links behind a warning, and they look like spam.
- Mix it up. Ten copies of the same comment look fake. Change a few words, or use a mix of the ideas above.
- Stay friendly. A profile is personal. Insults, even as a joke, can get your comment deleted or your account reported.
