Steam ID Finder

Find the Steam ID of any profile from its URL or custom name: SteamID64, SteamID, SteamID3 and the profile links.

For example steamcommunity.com/id/gabelogannewell, gabelogannewell or 76561197960287930.

What is a Steam ID?

Every Steam account has a unique number that never changes, even when you change your name or custom URL. Steam shows it in a few different formats:

  • SteamID64, like 76561197960287930: the 17-digit number in profile links. Most sites and tools use this one.
  • SteamID, like STEAM_1:0:11101: the older format, still used by game servers and some games (some show it as STEAM_0:0:11101, which is the same account).
  • SteamID3, like [U:1:22202]: used by newer games and the Steam console.
  • Account ID, like 22202: the short number inside the other formats, used in Dota 2 and CS2 match sites.

A custom URL (steamcommunity.com/id/yourname) is a nickname for the profile that you can change at any time, so it isn't a reliable ID. This tool looks up which account it belongs to right now. Want to know where to find yours? Read how to find your Steam ID.
